Microsoft buys aQuantive
May 22, 2007 – 2:17 amThis is not SEO news, but it’s certainly worth reading about because it involves Microsoft.
I’d just read that Microsoft is planning to acquire aQuantive for $6 billion. This is nearly more than double what Google paid for DoubleClick last month.
Clearly, Microsoft is not going to give up it’s fight to try and dominate the online marketing industry. Competition in this arena will be fierce for the coming years now that Google and Microsoft will be competing head to head for online ad dollars.
