All websites on the Internet will soon be discovered

What is the sound of one website published but no indexed by any of the search engines?

Although we may tried to hide our website, it will soon be discovered by someone who had accidentally stumbled upon it. It could be discovered by someone who is trying to registered a domain name. Perhaps, someone may typed it into the browser’s address bar. And you might get indexed because you’d casually mentioned it to a friend in a bank and the person who heard the conversation may’ve remembered to visit your website when they got home.

Nowadays, all of these situations may contribute to the indexing of your website IF the person who visited your website was impressed by it’s content.

From this point, they could blog about your website or link to it from a social bookmarking public account. Within a unspecified time period, the search engines could indexed your website without any efforts on your part.

No website will be left undiscovered unless you’ve specifically asked the search engines NOT to visit your website.
