What is Good or Bad Karma?
April 9, 2008 – 11:43 pmKarma is described in Wikipedia as the concept of “action” or “deed” in Indian religions understood as that which causes the entire cycle of cause and effect.
According to the Buddhist religion, each person is borne with a certain level of karma. I think that karma can be used for good or evil. Karma does not discriminate on race, creed, or religion.
Throughout your life, you can either accumulate good or bad karma. Each good deed increases your good karma and each bad deed decreases your karma. Karma may be linked to what some people called “good luck” or “bad luck”.
A person with a high degree of good karma attracts more money, better friends, and higher status in life. On the other hand, it would be the exact opposite for a person with a high degree of bad karma.
From my personal experiences, I think karma exists within and around each living person. When you sleep at night, its stay awake and when you wake up, it’s already awake. It is always present no matter where you wandered on this planet or any other universe. Yet it is neither active or passive.
It only moves when it needs to and when it moves, it may move swiftly and with great accuracy. The action or actions performed by karma may come slowly or quickly on some occasions. The speed of its movement is directly proportional to one’s deed past and present.
If you’re a bad person and your considered yourself “good”, you are still a bad person. You can only become good when you performed good deeds without thinking that you want to become a good person.
A truly good person performs good deeds without knowing that what he/she did was good. Karma see this inadvertently good deed and increases in size.
For some people, it may be difficult to do good deeds without really thinking that they performed a good deed. In this case, you can try to and continue to do good deeds until it become natural to you. In time, you will not noticed your good deeds because you have surpassed your level of being aware of your good deeds.
In the end, you need to become one with your source of good deeds and everything will fall into you place. All that you want and need will naturally come to you because karma is performing actions that will benefit you now and in the future. Continue elevating your high level of good deeds because good karma is good energy that is disbursed and needs to be replenish through more good deeds.
