How Do I Install A WordPress Plugin
WordPress is a widely popular CMS or content management system. Don’t let that technical phrase fool you. It’s actually a very easy to use and robust content management system. With a great script like WordPress comes great plug-ins. The plugins for WordPress makes an already wonderful CMS even better. In this article, I’m going to show you how to install a WordPress plugin within 5 minutes or less, and you don’t need your high school kids to help you either.
Let’s get started with our tutorial on How to Install A WordPress Plugin.
I started using or playing around with WordPress in January 2007; however, I didn’t start blogging until May 2007. As you can see from my archives here, my first post was back in May 2007. Needless to say, once I became comfortable using WordPress on a daily basis, I haven’t looked back.
Warning: I’m NOT a successful blogger with millions of fans and a highly popular ebook. Blogging is simply something that I love to do, and enjoy sharing with others.
Earlier, I said that WordPress was easy to use. This fact is even more true today because almost all of the website hosting companies in the world offers WordPress and other preinstalled programs with their website hosting plans. If you’re using a website hosting company that doesn’t offer WordPress as a pre-installed script with their website hosting plans, switch to another company.
Scripts auto installers such as Installatron, Softaculous, Fantastico have made the creation of new websites easier and faster. These auto installers are very popular with website control panels like CPanel, Plesk, DirectAdmin, Ensim, and Helm just to name a few.
Okay, enough of the history lesson. Let’s get down to the nitty gritty.
